Official Call for Entries

Today, we officially start the Call for Entries of Kinofest 2010. This 4th edition of Kinofest is planned to take place during 27 – 31 October 2010 in Bucharest, Romania. And we would be honoured to see your work in the Festival.

Key facts:
UPDATE: The deadline for your submissions is October 1, 2010. But remember: it’s never too early to submit your film.
There is no submission fee for your entries.
You can send an unlimited number of works.
The three sections of Kinofest 2010 are: Animation, Micromovie, Fiction.

    Dear Filmfestival-Team,

    we would like to send you our brand new feature film U.F.O. for the Filmfestival in Moscow. U.F.O. is the first feature film from the German director Burkhard Feige and was produced in Summer 2009 and finished in Spring 2010. It tells the story of a 12year old boy who notice that his mother is mentally ill. The story is playing in 1986 during the catastrophe of Tschernobyl that is also allegory for the illness of the mother.

    The subtitled version was finished last week so that we can send you the international DVD of the film immediately.

    Please let us know, if this is still possible and to whom we should send the material.

    I wasn’t able to find the entry form for the next festival on your homepage.
